Wellness dog food reviews

It’s been a wild few days in the world of dog food. Wellness, your trusted leader in pet nutrition, is being sold to Purina, another major pet food company. For any longtime Wellness fans, this may feel like déjà vu. Wellness’s story began in 1987 when Michael Matranga and his wife, Debbie, were looking for a better way to feed their four dogs. Debbie loved to cook and had created a wide variety of recipes, but she found it too challenging to get the foods she was making into their dogs’ diet. Matranga wanted to come up with a diet that would be good for his dogs but also give his wife the ease of feeding herself. Working with veterinarians and researchers, the Matrangas went on to found Wellness Pet Products and develop the dog foods that they know their customers have been trusting for 25 years.

As you can imagine, this story has been somewhat well-publicized. I’ve had several comments from Wellness customers recently. Many of you have posted your own comments on our Wellness Facebook page about this issue, and others have been posting well wishes and questions. I wanted to put this all down in writing for you.

What’s the deal?

The short answer is that Wellness has been sold to Purina. This means that our business will continue to exist, just under new ownership. For all of you Wellness fans, this is great news. Purina is in the business of producing great pet food, and they’ve been very good to us over the past two decades. Our dogs will continue to be fed some of the very best foods on the market and we’ll be able to continue to provide the best customer service in the business. I’m sure you’ll be excited to read that we’re going to have access to a great library of great health information to help us continue to provide the best nutritional advice for our dogs. We’ll be able to continue to help our customers.

However, this is a change for our business and I need to remind our Wellness customers and clients that they should expect a change in the way that we operate. I know that this will likely be a big change for many of you. The name Wellness will be changing to Purina Wellness in December 2012. The company headquarters will move from the state of Delaware to Georgia, which is a much more convenient location for our clients. I understand that many of you will be surprised, or even disappointed, that we are changing the name. However, my hope is that many of you will understand this as a change to better service you and your dog. We’ll still be Wellness and we’ll still be available to you and the people you care about most. You’ll still be able to purchase our health food and supplies from us in person. And we will be offering the same quality to you that you’ve come to know and love. I can assure you that the same people that care about your dog and your family will be there to work with you. I’m very excited about what this change will mean for our future as a company and how it will help us to better serve our customers and clients.

In addition to changing the name, we also need to remind you of a few other things. In the coming months we will be doing a complete reorganization of our business. We will be selling a majority of our manufacturing and operations to Fetch Products. As a result, we will need to consolidate our distribution and order fulfillment operations from Delaware to Georgia. This is why the change of the name is necessary. Our new name, Purina Wellness, is much easier to spell. The new name will better identify us as an animal nutrition company. And we’ll be providing many new products and services that were not available through our current branding. We will have a new online store that is easy for you to navigate, and we will be more visible than ever before. In addition, we will be bringing our veterinary nutrition lines under the Purina Wellness umbrella.

The company is now called Purina Wellness and will have new owners. The former owners, and the other business divisions that make up the company, will be sold to Fetch Products. In the coming weeks, we will be bringing you details about the sale.

We know that changes like this are not easy. I’m sure you’ll understand if we ask for your patience as we prepare for the transition. We know that you and your dogs will be important to us. We’ll do our best to ensure that you continue to receive the highest quality and trusted products. We know that you’ll be important to us, and we will do our best to make sure that you continue to receive the highest quality and trusted products. Please contact us if you have any questions. We look forward to hearing from you.

With great appreciation for your support over the years,

It’s not looking good for PetMD. It was announced today that the company will be relaunching under a new name, Purina Wellness.

After months of speculation, the animal nutrition giant decided to end PetMD, the online pet-focused version of VetMagic. According to the press release, PetMD will be phased out in favor of a new website and brand. The new site will also feature new products, a focus on veterinary nutrition, and a new name.

“PetMD has served the pet nutrition and health care industry for over 25 years with over 40 years of leading veterinary education. We appreciate the trust that pet owners place in us to provide unbiased, complete and factual information to make them the best decision for their pets,” said Purina Wellness vice president of corporate communications, Lisa St. John. “However, changes in the industry and in the market place, have made the need to re-evaluate our digital marketing strategy to best meet consumer needs and expectations. Our new Pet Food Company website will focus on delivering relevant information to our consumer base in a format that they can more effectively understand.”

The new site is scheduled to go live in early December.

In other Purina news, the company announced that it will be closing two of its manufacturing plants. The facilities will be moving production to a new production site. The facility that will be closing will be moving production to the new location. The new location will house an expanded and state-of-the-art feed mill. Production will begin in the second quarter of 2016.

“The new facility will support the overall goal of greater efficiencies and better use of feed ingredients and technology,” said Purina senior vice president of Nutrition and Innovation for Pet Foods, Kevin Folta. “This new facility is critical to our business, enabling us to provide a premium and consistent feed at a lower cost
