Black & Decker is well-known for its extensive line of home improvement products. And by partnering with Wagz, Inc., the brand dips its paw into the pet market.

Black & Decker may make fabulous appliances, power tools and outdoor equipment, but now they are jumping into the smart pet product line with their new partner Wagz, Inc. As a new partner of Black & Decker’s licensing program, Wagz, Inc. will bring a brand new line of dog collars, dog feeders and dog doors that utilize the latest technology.

The Black & Decker Smart Dog Collar will be out in time for the 2017 holiday season. It will monitor your dog through the day with precise location tracking, distance monitoring and virtual fencing. It will also include pre-recorded messages and on-demand alerts for your pup, while giving data and insights into the day of your dog using GPS technology.

The Smart Feeder and Smart Dog Door will be introduced for pet lovers in the spring of 2018, and will work in conjunction with the connectivity of the Smart Collar. The information about your dog’s whereabouts and feeding patterns will all be connected, and pet parents will always know their dog is safe, well-fed and can come and go in your house as he pleases. The products will be controlled with apps designed for both iPhone and Android users.

Wagz, Inc. is well-known for using technology to strengthen the connections between humans and dogs so our pets can be safe, healthy and happy family members, and their tech gurus and vet experts believe with Black & Decker that these new products will create connected homes for dogs everywhere.
